Macro Galore!
The weather here didn't decide whether it is winter or spring. Some trees are still bare while others already flowering. A sunny day at the Givat Ram Campus.
After Basel I continued to Boston. Here I got my new 60mm Macro lens, so I played with it a bit (mostly not macro). Even when used as a regular prime it is very sharp.

Attempts to catch the T in movement
Abstract (Illumina Seq Machine)
As part of a work related trips, I spent a day in Basel. The meeting was in a building in the "newer" town and they had a roof cafe. I used the opportunity to take pictures of the skyline.
In the evening we strolled to the old city. I didn't have a tripod but tried to make do with fences and other support.
We got to a plaze with a fountain by a local artist who was one of the first to build kinetic sculpture. The fountain was not lit well, but I tried to capture the movement, with partial success.
On a nice Saturday morning we went to the reserve on HaBonim to see the sea and look for early flowers. The day was beautiful and the sea relatively calm.
Yael made a ring out of drift wood...
while Roy climbed on rocks
Eventually we did find some flowers, although not the big flower beds we saw last year.
Roy spotted this little bird, and we put the zoom into use to catch it. Notice the two large insects next to it.
Near the parking lot we run into several large Ravens that posed for us.
From HaBonim we continued to the near by fish ponds (very large ponds) hoping to see migratory birds.
